Every day, Barstool offers boosted odds on select games in the “Exclusives” part of the site. These are broken down into Odds Boosts and Bet With Barstool bets.
The odds boosts are similar to what other sportsbooks offer. Every day, the Barstool Sportsbook will increase the odds on anywhere from 3 to 10 games. Most often, odds are boosted anywhere from 15% to 20%—which is standard for most online sportsbooks.
The other form of odds boosts are the Bet With Barstool bets in which you can bet alongside popular Barstool personalities such as Dave “El Presidente” Portnoy, Dan “Big Cat” Katz, the Fore Play squad, Brandon Walker, Rone, and more. These work just like normal odds boosts but often include more exotic bets like parlays or player props.
One of the most popular Bet With Barstool bets is Big Cat’s Can’t Lose Parlay. On almost every week during the NFL season and even on many weeks outside of football season, Big Cat puts together a 3 to 6 team parlay and Barstool boosts the odds considerably. While the parlay can, in fact, lose (and often does), it’s fun to join in on the fun, especially for listeners of the popular Pardon My Take podcast where Big Cat reveals his parlay of the week.
Promotions
Aside from the intro bonuses for new customers and odds boosts, Barstool also regularly offers promotions to keep customers engaged.
One unique thing about these promos is that you can earn free Barstool merch such as hats and jackets.
Here are some examples of promos I’ve seen in the past:
- Carhartt Jacket Final 4 Promo. Bet on one of the Final 4 teams in the 2021 NCAA Tournament to win the championship and receive a free Barstool x Carhartt Jacket if your team wins.
- Can’t Lose Parlay Hat. Bet $25 on Big Cat’s Can’t Lose Parlay and receive a free Can’t Lose Parlay hat regardless of whether the bet wins or loses.
- Autographed Baseball Merch Giveaway. Earn 1 entry towards a signed baseball merch giveaway for every $25 in cash bets you make.
- Kayce Smith Overs Promo. Place a $100 wager on the Over in a select NBA game and earn $1 for every point scored in the game if the Over hits.
mychoice Rewards Program
The Barstool Sportsbook uses the mychoice rewards program that gives you access to special member benefits such as discounts on resorts, free gifts, VIP lounge access, and more. You can learn more about it here.
The Barstool Sportsbook offers live betting on most sports including football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, and more.
To see games currently in action, hit the “Live” button in the footer menu of the mobile app or on the left menu of the full website.
You can also cash out of most single bets on games that are still in progress and parlays that are only partially complete. If you hit the first 3 legs of a 4-leg parlay, for example, you may be able to cash out for a reduced payout.
Same game parlays
“Same game parlays” have gained a lot of popularity over the past few years after sportsbooks like FanDuel started offering them. With these, you can parlay multiple wagers from a single game, typically including sides, totals, player props, and game props.
Fortunately, the Barstool Sportsbook DOES offer same game parlays.
You can typically combine spreads and totals from the same game (such as the Eagles +6.5 and Over 44.5) with props (such as Jalen Hurts Over 45.5 rushing yards) in the same game.
The Barstool Sportsbook offers one of the best user experiences of all the online sportsbooks currently available.
Both the mobile app and website have great designs, making it easy to find and place bets on the variety of markets offered.
Here are some specific notes for both the mobile app and website:
Barstool Sportsbook Mobile App
The Barstool Sportsbook mobile app has a very clean design that makes it easy to see the various games and types of bets available. Unlike some other books that are cluttered, Barstool spaces things out well, making it easy to distinguish between different games and wagers.
In addition, the app is lightning fast with very little load time when moving throughout it.
There are a few menus that help you navigate to the part of the site you’re interested in.
- You can expand the menu in the top left to see your account information, promotions, preferences, responsible gaming resources, and more.
- The scrollable horizontal menu highlights exclusive bets and popular sports for that day.
- Finally, the bottom menu lets you quickly jump to the homepage, the A-Z Sports menu, your bet slip, live games, and your account.
Once you click into a sport, Barstool shows you stats and trends such as best/worst season-long cover percentage, win streaks, and more. This is unique to the Barstool Sportsbook; most other books just show team statistics once you click into a game.
Once you do click into a game, you can see the implied win probability for each team, recent game results, results of head-to-head matchups, “hot tips”, and more. You can quickly switch between all bets, game props, player props, and more.
One of my favorite things about the Barstool Sportsbook app is the “Move the Line” slider that allows you to quickly see the odds on alternate lines without having to scroll through a bunch of lines like you have to do with most other sportsbooks.
Once you find what you want to bet on, just select them and they will be added to your bet slip which can you access in the bottom center of your screen. When you’re ready to place your wagers, simply hit the bet slip button, enter the amounts you want to bet, then hit the “Wager” button. You can also place parlays, teasers, and round robins from the bet slip.
Check out some of the screenshots below to get a better idea of what the app is like (click to expand):
Like most other sportsbooks, the Barstool Sportsbook website looks very similar to the mobile app. The biggest difference is that some of the menus are moved around since there is extra space.
From the homepage, you can see popular sports at the very top, popular sections of the site (exclusives, sports going on today, etc.) a bit lower, and another menu on the left that lets you see promotions, preferences, responsible gaming resources, and more. Barstool also displays popular games on the homepage too.
Once you click into a sport, you can see upcoming games and toggle on the same betting stats and trends that I discussed in the mobile app section. You can also switch between upcoming games, live games, and futures.
Once you click into a specific game, you will see all bets by default but you can use the horizontal menu to see game lines, game props, and player props.
When you’re ready to place your bets, simply make your selections and the bet slip will pop up on the right side of your screen. As long as you have at least one bet selected, the bet slip will stay there, allowing you to quickly see how many bets you have selected and what your odds are (including on parlays).

I’ve used the Barstool Sportsbook as a part of my main rotation of sportsbooks since it came out in September 2020.
For 99% of the time I’ve used it, I haven’t had any problems with the app crashing, not being able to log in, or it not working properly otherwise.
The only real issue I’ve run into is (temporarily) not being able to opt into promotions. Once or twice, I’ve tried opting into promos to have the app return an error message. In these cases, I’ve just had to wait a few minutes and try again.
One other thing to note is that—like most sportsbook apps—I find that I get logged out frequently if I leave the app for more than a few minutes. This can be a bit annoying, but the login process is fast with Face ID setup.
The most common complaint I’ve found online when it comes to the stability of the app is trouble placing or cashing out of live bets. Some people have reported that the app has crashed when placing live bets or cashing out of them, or simply that the bet/cash out wouldn’t go through.
Overall, the Barstool Sportsbook app is almost always reliable and you shouldn’t run into many issues when using it.

As mentioned in the user experience section above, the Barstool Sportsbook provides extensive team and player statistics for users.
While most sportsbooks either provide no statistics or just the results of the last few matchups, Barstool provides information about how teams have performed against the spread, in totals, in past head-to-head matchups, and more.
They also give “hot tips” about betting trends that can help you make better decisions. An example is “The Bulls have covered the spread in nine of their last 11 games against teams with a losing record.”
On top of team statistics, Barstool also gives insight into the best markets for player props. For example, in NBA games, they provide percentages for the times a player has hit his player prop during the season (example: Zach Lavine over 24.5 points hits 57.45% of the time).
While many of these stats are available elsewhere on the internet, it’s convenient to have them right in the app next to the games you are considering betting on.
On top of these statistics, the Barstool Sportsbook provides an extensive House Rules guide that goes over how bets work in general as well as for specific sports.
